Richard Duron

Senior Managing Director

Richard Duron joined East Wind in 2024 from Atlas Advisors, an M&A boutique, where he was a Senior Managing Director for 9 years. Prior to joining Atlas, Richard was a Managing Partner at Stelac Advisory in New York, a multi-family office providing wealth management advisory services. Prior to that, he spent 7 years at UBS. His last position was Vice Chairman in the Wealth Management International Americas division, and he also ran UBS’s Wealth Management operations in Canada and Latin America. Prior to UBS, Richard spent 24 years at J.P. Morgan in various functions and headed the M&A group for Latin America. He also worked in debt capital markets and in private banking. Richard serves on the boards of Surgeons of Hope and SPIN Global.

Richard studied civil engineering in France and obtained a MS from Stanford University. He also holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MPH from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University.
