Howard joined East Wind Advisors in 2016 after leading an independent advisory business for 15 years. Howard originated and advised on transactions involving the acquisition of over 40 businesses, ranging from $25 to $330 million in enterprise value, and aggregating to $1 billion.
Howard originated Lincolnshire Management’s acquisition of True Temper Sports. He represented Parques Reunidos of Madrid, Spain and Candover/Arle of the U.K. in their five U.S. acquisitions which created the largest operator of water parks and family entertainment centers in the United States. These transactions included the acquisition of Palace Entertainment, Kennywood Entertainment, Dutch Wonderland, Noah’s Ark, and the Miami Seaquarium.
In 20 years of executive management, Howard served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cendant Direct Marketing, Vice President of Sales for LIVENT, and Vice President of Sales for Madison Square Garden. At Madison Square Garden, Howard managed the sales teams that produced unprecedented season subscription sell-outs of the Knicks and Rangers, quadrupled the group sales of all events, and created and developed a highly successful large-scale Special Events and Catering business.
Howard serves on the Executive Committee of the UJA-Federation Business Leaders Forum on Long Island. He earned an MBA from the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University, where he chaired and founded the MBA Alumni Group, and serves on the Zarb School Advisory Board for Marketing and International Business. He received a BA from Harpur College at the State University of New York at Binghamton.
